Women Writing West

Copper Nickel will host a three-day symposium on "Women Writing the West" on October 15-17, 2008. With our friends at the Colorado Center for Public Humanities, The Lighthouse Writers Workshop, and The Laboratory of Art and Ideas at Belmar, we'll present three days of readings and conversations, culminating in the release of Copper Nickel 10.

Women Writing West Schedule

The symposium will be October 15-17, 2008. Most events will be held on the Auraria Higher Education Campus in downtown Denver, in St. Cajetan's Student Center. Exceptions are noted below Tivoli 440, unless otherwise noted.

All events are free and open to the public.

The symposium is presented or supported by the Department of English, UC-Denver Live, the College of Arts and Media, the Department of Communications, the Department of History, the Colorado Center for Public Humanities, the Women's and Gender Studies Track at UC-Denver, the Auraria Library, and Asian American Education Programs and Community Outreach, as well as the Lighthouse Writers Workshop and the Laboratory of Art and Ideas at Belmar.
