Jake Adam York is a professor of English at the University of Colorado at Denver where he edits Copper Nickel with his students. He will read selections from A Murmuration of Starlings which was recently accepted for publication at Southern Illinois University Press (forthcoming 2008) and from Murder Ballads (2005). York brings with him Mary McHugh, an editor of Copper Nickel and Roxanne Banks, an English teacher at Littleton High School and a contributor to Copper Nickel.
