We'll release our 11th issue and continue our celebration of five years of literary publishing on Friday, March 13th, from 6-10pm at The Laboratory of Art and Ideas at Belmar. Join us for an evening of reading and discussion.

From 6-7pm, you can meet contributors and editors, then listen as contributors Marilyn Krysl and Simmons B. Buntin read from their work and discuss the challenges of working in multiple genres. Krysl is a poet who has recently published a collection of short stories, and Buntin is also a poet now working on an MFA in Creative Nonfiction.

At 8:30, a panel of student contributors will offer some short readings, followed by more mingling.

Throughout this, Copper Nickel 11 will be on sale to the public for the first time (not counting, of course, our website presale), along with a new batch of our green-and-copper buffalo nickel shirts designed and printed by our friends at Vital Industries.

This event is free and open to the public. Bring your friends and also enjoy The Lab's current exhibitions.
