So, we ran a contest.
We advertised the contest, accepted entries and entry fees. Each entry included a year's subscription to Copper Nickel, which we figured ensured that each writer would get something of value from entering the contest, even if he/she didn't win.
Apparently, that view is not shared by everyone.
When communicating the contest results, one entrant wrote us back and told us to stuff the free year's subscription.
Well, we'll do that one better—or to be more precise 14 better.
We're sending our 14th issue to press in the next few weeks, and to mark that, as well as to properly stuff the rejected subscription, we're offering 14 one-year subscriptions for FREE.
To be eligible, you must never have subscribed to Copper Nickel before. To enter, all you need to do is send an e-mail to us at element16 [at] copper-nickel [dot] org, tell us how you heard about us and why you haven't subscribed before.
The first 14 e-mails to be confirmed eligible will receive a one-year subscription beginning in October.
