October 2010 Archives

You know you've already spent too much time or money on that costume to only wear it once, and you know you're missing out on the smart, literary fun Copper Nickel seems to put on, so mark up that calendar and come to Forest Room 5 on Tuesday night, October 26th, from 7-10pm for some costumed fundraising to celebrate the release of Copper Nickel 14.

Costumes are not required, but you could win some swank prizes with the right costume in one of these categories: best traditional costume; best literary costume; best pop culture costume; cheapest costume; best zombie; best "double feature" (couples costume or combo costume).

Suggested donation is $5 for any student and $10 for all others, living or dead.

Copper Nickel 14 is at the printers and should be in the offices next week. Subscribers' copies, contributors' copies, and preorders will ship on or about October 20th. If you're interested in grabbing a copy or a subscription, check in here.
