    ERRATUM

In my introduction to issue 7's sculpture portfolio, I mistakenly identified Conor Hollis as a student of Rian Kerrane's.

Conor is, however, not a student in the sculpture program at UCDHSC.

He is an accomplished sculptor, who currently serves as the manager of the sculpture labs on our Auraria Higher Education Campus.

    My apologies to Conor.

Check back here in the coming weeks as we hope to present a complete and illuminating profile...

    —Jake Adam York

We're happy, too, to share some contributor news and additional contributors' notes:

  • Sculptors Mark Guilbeau and Rian Kerrane are now presenting a show entitled "A Slice of American Life: The Deluge Series," at Edge Gallery (3658 Navajo Street). The exhibition will run through February 25th.
  • On March 8th, we'll help Noah Eli Gordon celebrate the release of his third full-length book of poems, A Fiddle Pulled from the Throat of a Sparrow, published by New Issues, and we'll be looking forward to his Novel Pictorial Noise, a forthcoming winner of the National Poetry Series.
  • On Tuesday, March 27th, we'll host poets Joshua Poteat and Allison Titus in the King Center for the Performing Arts, beginning at 7pm. More info here.
  • Matthea Harvey's third book of poems, Modern Life is rumored due from Graywolf. Get some previews here
  • We'd like to recommend (CN7 Contributor) Mathias Svalina and (CN6 contributor) Zachary Schomburg's Octopus to our readers, particularly the 8 chapbooks they've produced to celebrate their eighth issue, one presenting the work of CN6 contributor Joshua Marie Wilkinson
  •

And many thanks for the kind words from CN6 contributor Anne Boyer.
